I am writing this blog post from my sofa as my little boys play with their train track and it's like a ticking time bomb... how long will the peace...

I sat with my 13 year old Niece at the weekend, watching her create unbelievable illustrations on ProCreate and I started to think about talent and how many millions of people in the world may be sat silently on a passion/ talent because they've never had the confidence or encouragement to utilise it.

Here I am - happy business birthday to me!

Looking back now, how exactly did I set up my business in a pandemic?

I recall so vividly, the feeling of anticipation and worry around what people would think... would they assume it was a hobby and nothing more? Would they hate my "style"? Would they like me? What about my brand... would it connect with people? The self doubt was crippling at times but I knew I had to push past it if I wanted to make this business a success.

Starting a business during a national lockdown and global pandemic seemed like a wise idea and as we enter lockdown 2.0 I look back on my journey so far.
